Alejandra Correa-Bedoya is a Doctoral student at the Leibniz Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (IGB).She focuses on assessing aquatic insects distribution patterns across the Magdalena-Cauca River Basin in Colombia, thereby identifying key biodiversity regions and evaluating habitat fragmentation from existing and planned hydropower dams.
