Lucas Abbadi Ebling is visiting PhD student at the Leibniz Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (IGB). I have a degree in Biological Sciences and a master’s degree in Ecology. I am currently a PhD student at the PPG Ecology and Conservation (UFPR), Brazil. I am interested in discovering how environmental and spatial patterns act in the organization of metacommunities of benthic macroinvertebrates along the Guaraguaçu River. I have a great appreciation for aquatic ecology. I am passionate about freshwater ecosystems, especially rivers and streams. In my spare time, I watch anime and my favorite soccer team (Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense) play.
