Mathieu Floury is a Freshwater Ecologist at the Leibniz Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (IGB) and the Ecology of Natural and Anthropized Hydrosystems Lab (LEHNA) interested in ecology and conservation of biodiversity in hydrosystems. A large part of his work is dedicated to understanding and predicting freshwater community responses to environmental drivers at different spatial and temporal scales, in order to better inform and guide conservation actions in river networks.
