Maxine Chapman is a masters student at the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. Currently she is working on her thesis at the Leibniz institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (IGB). She looks at the potential impacts of climate change on the distribution of freshwater species in Cuba, and analyses the efficacy of protected areas there under different emissions scenarios.
