Dr. Yusdiel Torres Cambas is a postdoc at the Leibniz Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (IGB). He is assessing the protection offered by the Cuban protected area system to freshwater biodiversity and to the supply of freshwater ecosystem services, considering the present conditions and future climate and land use/land cover change scenarios.
